Vinik Sports Group (defined below) processes personal information to deliver the Services to you and ensure that you have the best possible sports and entertainment experience. The data controller of your personal information will be the Vinik Sports Group company which provides Services to you or does business with you.
By using or accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to the Services throughout the world. Any additional privacy terms that relate to specific Vinik Sports Group products or services should be read in conjunction with this Policy.
We may change our Privacy Policy, so please check this page from time to time, as your continued use of the Services, after we publish our changes, indicates your acceptance of any changed terms. 1. SERVICES
This Privacy Policy applies to your use of our “Services,” which include the following:
- “Offline Services,” for example, Services you use when you visit our Events and Venues, purchase a ticket for an event on-site, or otherwise visit a venue owned, operated, promoted, or serviced by Vinik Sports Group (as defined below).
- “Digital Services,” for example:
- Our products, services, or technology in venues and events we own or operate; and
- Our websites, mobile applications, and other online services, including data collected when you interact with or reference our products/services or advertisements online, as well as via social media (such as when we correspond with you via social media, when we access information provided by social media platforms in relation to our pages on those platforms, or if you reference or interact with our Events and Venues (as defined below) on social media).
2. WHO WE ARE
VSGE and its affiliates, subsidiaries, and other companies under common control of Vinik Sports Group LLC (“VSG”), and under the various Vinik Sports Group brands described below and as may change from time to time (collectively, “Vinik Sports Group,” “we,” or “us”) are the owner or operator of, or service provider for, various sports and live entertainment venues, events, and properties (collectively, “Events and Venues”) and sports teams.
References to Vinik Sports Group include (without limitation):

3. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND WHY
The tables below explain the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for which we use it. The actual personal information we collect about you can vary based on how you interact with our Services. Please note that we may use any or all of this information to comply with the law, detect or prevent fraud, and to defend our legal rights. 4. HOW WE SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We may share any of your personal information with any of the following:
– Related Companies: We will share your personal information with other companies in Vinik Sports Group, as well as any other current or future affiliated entities, subsidiaries, and parent companies of VSG, to help better tailor services, products, marketing, and advertising to you and to other existing and potential customers. We may share identification and demographics, device information and identifiers, and research and feedback for purposes such as improving and tailoring services. In addition, business information may be shared for business operational purposes.
– Operational Partners: Vinik Sports Group operational partners and their successors, assigns, and affiliates, in connection with the operation of the Services and where otherwise permitted by law. For example, we currently partner with BAMTech, LLC (“BAM”) and SnagFilms, Inc., d/b/a ViewLift (“ViewLift”) to operate certain aspects of our Services.
– National Hockey League: In addition to the information the NHL may collect about you in connection with your use of any NHL services (NHL Privacy Policy), we may share personal information about you with the NHL (including your contact information, demographic information, preferences and information about your interactions with Vinik Sports Group), and the NHL may use this information for purposes including: providing you with special offers, promotional materials, and other materials and information that may be relevant to you, improving their products and services, and performing internal analyses. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of the NHL.
– Advertisers, Advertising Networks, and Other Third Parties: We may share personal information about how you use the Services and interact with content or ads to better tailor services, products, marketing and advertising on our Services and on third-party platforms. To enable these purposes, we may share certain demographics information, user-generated content, device information and identifiers, connection and usage data, geolocation data, public and commercial information, and social media information. These third parties may use their own tracking technologies to collect or request information about you, including when you use our Services, please see our section on Cookies below.
– Promoters and Artists: We may share your personal information with other third parties, for example artists or promoters we work with. In certain cases, these parties may use your personal information for marketing or promotional purposes by sending you information about related
products or services that may be of interest to you.
– Partners and Sponsors: We may share your personal information with third-party partners and sponsors we work with. For instance, if you enter a contest or sweepstakes sponsored by a third party, we may share the information you provide for that entry with the sponsor. Depending on the partnership, we may share certain information including contact information, identification and demographic information, transactional information, user-generated content that you provide, research and feedback, device information and identifiers, connection and usage information, public and commercial information, and social media information. You may avoid sharing your personal information with these third parties by choosing not to register or use the relevant co-sponsored feature.
– Service Providers: We engage vendors to perform business purposes on our behalf and share personal information with them to enable them to provide us with support and services, including research and analytics, hosting, transaction and payment processing, promotion administration, fraud prevention, identity management, acquisition, data hygiene, and other services. Service providers may typically only use such information to provide their services to us.
– Law Enforcement, Regulators, Anti-Fraud Coalitions and Others: We share any of the categories of personal information we collect, as appropriate, with these third parties in order to protect and enforce the legal rights, privacy, and safety of ourselves and others; protect against possible fraud or other illegal activity; respond to requests from government, law enforcement, and other authorities; and otherwise comply with legal processes.
Consent
We may share any personal information about you with outside companies, organizations, or individuals when we have your consent to do so, including when you reasonably direct us to do so, such as through providing your personal information when you are informed at the time of collection that it will be shared with one or more other parties.
Other Sharing
We may share personal information about you with third parties, so they may better personalize your experience with them and the offers they send you, including on our behalf. With your appropriate consent when required, and consistent with applicable law, we may share your video viewing behavior with third parties including advertising companies, analytic partners, and social media sites.
Business Sale or Transfer
If VSG or any Vinik Sports Group company is involved in a merger, acquisition, transfer of control, bankruptcy, reorganization, or sale of assets, or diligence or negotiations associated with such matters, we may sell or transfer any or all personal information we have as part of that transaction.
Other Legal Reasons
Vinik Sports Group may use or disclose your personal information if Vinik Sports Group believes in good faith that it is necessary or appropriate:
- under applicable law, including under laws that may apply to us but not you;
- to comply with any applicable law, regulation, subpoena, legal process or other enforceable governmental request;
- to protect our operations or those of any of our Vinik Sports Group companies;
- to protect against harm to the rights, privacy, safety or property of Vinik Sports Group, the NHL Entities (as defined below), you, other users, or our staff, participants, fans, spectators, bystanders, or others at Vinik Sports Group-related events or venues (including without limitation our Events and Venues) and/or the public as permitted or required by law;
- to detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, physical safety, or technical or other potentially harmful occurrences (both online and offline);
- to enforce our Terms and NHL.com Terms, and any other terms and conditions or policies, including investigations of potential violations of any terms or policies; and
- to pursue available remedies, defend our companies, or limit damages we may sustain
5. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Vinik Sports Group does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Vinik Sports Group only collects personal information about children from the parents or legal guardians of those children when those persons choose to provide personal information about their children to us. When you provide personal information about your children, that personal information is collected and maintained by Vinik Sports Group and, depending on the functionality of the service or program, by third parties under contract with Vinik Sports Group. Those third parties are contractually obligated to keep such personal information confidential and secure.
If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information. Please contact us if you have any questions about our privacy practices regarding childrens’ personal information.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, including residents of California or Texas and some people who interact with us from Europe, you may have certain rights with respect to the personal information we collect about you. To the extent applicable law grants you the right to do so, and subject to any necessary verification, you may have the right to:
- request additional information about the personal information we process;
- request that we provide you with a copy of your personal information;
- request that we update inaccurate personal information;
- request that we delete any or all of your personal information; or
- request that we restrict our processing of your personal information, including by opting out of or withdrawing your consent to our processing of your personal information.
We will respond within any time period prescribed by applicable law. Vinik Sports Group may require you to verify your identity before Vinik Sports Group can act on any request. The information we may request for any request purpose may differ. Typically, we will ask you for information that matches information you have already provided to us by using our Services. If you maintain an online account with us, we may verify your identity for a request through the normal account authentication process, meaning you will need to sign on with your email and password. Access to personal information may be subject to heightened verification and security requirements, depending in part on the sensitivity of the personal information at issue.
You may also designate an authorized agent to exercise your rights and submit requests on your behalf.
We may request that your authorized agent have written permission from you to make requests on your behalf, and we may need to verify your authorized agent’s identity or that you wish to make the request to protect your personal information before we process requests from authorized agents.
If our response indicates that we are unable to fulfill all or a part of your request, we will explain why. We will never discriminate against anyone for exercising lawful privacy rights, and you may have the right to complain to your privacy or data protection regulator if you believe we have not appropriately handled your request or your personal information.
Please be aware that if we fulfill your request to delete all personal information, you may not have access to some Services, and we will not be able to recover your deleted information.
If you request privacy rights that are not legally applicable to you, we may not respond to your request.

We and our service providers, advertisers, and other third parties use cookies and similar tracking technologies (such as pixels, embedded scripts, and software development kits) to recognize you on, off, and across Services and your devices. How We Use Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies
Vinik Sports Group and its agents use cookies and tracking technologies so that we can learn about our visitors and improve online experiences. For example, these technologies help by remembering repeat visitors to our website and showing you content that is more relevant. Cookies also enable us to track online purchases made through the Services.
Your Options to Limit Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Online Advertising
Vinik Sports Group also uses cookies and other tracking technologies such as pixels, web beacons, and clear GIFs, to help manage our online advertising program, including targeted advertising. These technologies are provided by our advertising management partners (“Ad Partners”) and enable them to recognize a unique cookie that has been placed on your browser, which in turn enables us and our Ad Partners to learn which advertisements bring users to our Services.
Vinik Sports Group and our Ad Partners also may use tracking technologies to understand the actions of visitors to our Services over time and across third-party websites, apps, or other online services to display ads on third-party websites, to analyze our marketing efforts, to deliver advertisements for others on our Services that may be more relevant to individual consumers, and to generally improve the consumer experience while using the Services. For example, if you have given Vinik Sports Group your zip code, Vinik Sports Group may use it to deliver advertisements to you that are specific to promotions in your area. In addition, Vinik Sports Group and our Ad Partners may use technologies, such as remarketing, which allow us to deliver ads to you based on websites, advertisements, or apps that you previously interacted with.
Marketing Communications
You can withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications by clicking on the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by adjusting the push message settings for the mobile application, or by
contacting us using the information in the “Contact Us” section of this Privacy Policy.
Mobile Apps and Connected Devices
Depending on the device you use, you may be able to manage your advertising and location preferences through your device settings. Many operating systems provide their own instructions on how to prevent the delivery of tailored in-application advertisements. We do not control this.
You can stop the collection of information by the mobile app by uninstalling the app.
Third-Party Online Services
Our Services may contain links to unaffiliated, third-party services. These other sites (even if co-branded as Vinik Sports Group) may collect personal information about you and use this information in accordance with their own privacy policies and terms of service. We do not control those third parties’ policies or practices. Where Vinik Sports Group collects personal information on a co-branded website or service, we will provide a link to our privacy policy as appropriate. In some circumstances, Vinik Sports Group may host some websites on behalf of others, and those entities may place or permit the placement of cookies and other tracking technology. Vinik Sports Group is not responsible for the tracking practices of others.
8. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We use industry standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal information, but we cannot guarantee the security of any personal information when you transmit it to us. Any provision of personal information to us is at your own risk.
If you believe that your Vinik Sports Group account or any information you provided to us is no longer secure, please notify us immediately through the “Contact Us” information provided below.
9. HOW LONG WE KEEP YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will keep your personal information for as long as it, in our discretion, remains relevant to the purpose for which we collected it, and longer if required by law. This period may be adjusted if we need to retain personal information in order to respond to claims, to protect our rights or the rights of others, or to cooperate with law enforcement. We review retention periods periodically and adjust them as appropriate.
10. LIMITATION OF NHL ENTITY LIABILITY
None of NHL ICE, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises B.V., the National Hockey League and its other member clubs, nor any of their respective officers, directors, governors, owners, other officials, partners, partnerships, principals, employees, affiliates and other related entities, servants, agents, representatives, successors and assigns (together “NHL Entities”), have any control of, or responsibility or liability for, our use, disclosure, storage, or transmission of any personal information collected through the Services.
11. INTERNATIONAL VISITORS
Vinik Sports Group controls and operates its business and the Services from within the United States of America. Our privacy practices are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Florida, which may differ from privacy laws in your state or home country, and may not be equivalent to, or as protective as, the laws in your state or country. Your personal information may also be processed by our
service providers operating within or outside the United States.
When you provide personal information to us, you agree that we may process your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy, including transferring your personal information and disclosing it in accordance with laws applicable to us.
12. VISITORS FROM THE EUROPEAN ECONOMIC AREA, SWITZERLAND, OR THE UNITED KINGDOM
In addition to other information provided throughout this Privacy Policy, we provide this additional information to participants in our Distant Thunder program who are located in the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom.
Legal Basis for Processing Personal Information
To the extent our activities are subject to the laws of the European Economic Area, Switzerland, or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent and that you have opted in to participating in the Distant Thunder program to interact with you, including to process your personal information, send you direct marketing messages, and to otherwise personalize your experience with us and our Services.
13. RESIDENTS OF U.S. STATES WITH CONSUMER PRIVACY LAWS
In addition to the other information provided in this Privacy Policy, this section provides certain disclosures intended to address state law requirements in California and Texas. This section should be read as supplementing all other information.
Personal Information Sales, Sharing, and Targeted Advertising
We do not sell your personal information in exchange for money. However, we share personal information in ways that may be considered a “sale” under the broad definitions of the privacy laws in many U.S. states. We also use personal information for cross-context behavioral and targeted advertising.
If you are a resident of California or Texas, or otherwise believe you have the right to opt out of the sale of your personal information or its use for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, you may do so through our Customer Privacy Portal, by selecting the “Do Not Sell My Personal Info” link on our website, or by calling us at 1-888-607-7572. Please note that your decision to opt out of the sale of your personal information may impact the availability and quality of some of the Services provided to you.
California Shine the Light
If you are a California resident, you can also request a list of all the third parties to which we have disclosed certain personal information (as defined by California’s Shine the Light law) during the preceding year for those third parties’ direct marketing purposes. “California Shine the Light Request”, your name, a current California address including, street address, city, state, and zip code, as well as sufficient information for us to determine if the law applies to you. You will need to attest to the fact that you are a California resident. We will not accept these requests by telephone, email, or fax, and we are not responsible for notices that are not labeled or sent properly, or that do not have complete information.
